While merging and intertwining with nature, three young girls create a metaphorical and visionary narrative of their present condition and their projections towards the future.

by Britney Always feat. Socialist Herbalism
theme: popular culture
The song Birch Poly Core emerged during Socialist Herbalism, spring 2024, a platform for local and global queer, de-colonial and feminist imaginations through practices of care and revisiting herbalism as a community practice. It is located at MASSIA (rural Estonia), a self-organized residency space. The song was inspired by bringing together material of the gathering and merging it with the quest to bring polyamory into popular culture. The video is an improvised piece that captures a spontaneous moment of farewell at the cars, and a desired ritual with the remaining ground elder herbs of those that we had cooked, preserved and played with after taking them out of the garden beds to prepare them for spring seedlings. The slow motion brings together the different time frames of the song and the video: time in MASSIA is always bending.Kirigami
by SHUM
The story of a prisoned girl is told with the instruments of contemporary dance, video and Stable Diffusion neural network. Will she manage to get out?
theme: animation
That's our first artwork created in collaboration with artificial intelligence. The word 'Kirigami' is a Japanese term for paper cutting.Resilience of the human body is a silent song
by Marianna Slobodian
This short film/performance explores the interaction between a human being & nature — the power of the physical body and the power of nature, and how one can be reflected by another through dance. Control. Truthfulness. Resilience.
theme: empowerment
The experiment contains a dance performance and footages of nature from various artists accompanied by associative thoughts, allowing us to look at this force from different angles. The project arose intuitively and was created by the creative team, with each member contributing a piece of their own art: Director & idea @msslobodian | DOP: @hunter_cinema | Performance/choreographer: @j.dolacka | Editing: @msslobodian | Color grading @emiljaar | AC/backstage operator: @andriikiptilyi | AD/VHS operator: @alxndr._ | Text: @ylyzvt | Music producer: @archypness | PA/location scout: @dashkavspyshka | MUA: @kgorkamakeup | Hair stylist: @tatkadavydchuk | Brand: @the.pokora | Graphics: @loikateryna | Archive/footage researchers: @msslobodian @andriikiptilyi @alxndr._VideoDance artworks will be presented in our online gallery and a selection will be exhibited at these partnering venues in 2025:
